The Women’s National Volleyball Association is proud to announce the “Bringing the American Tradition Back Home” tour. On the road to professional volleyball’s new beginning in America, the use of media will play a vital role in helping to achieve this goal. This cross-country tour is the first step in making this objective a reality. The tour will implement the creative use of media to enlighten existing volleyball fans about the WNVA and to stimulate growth of that fan base for the league’s inaugural season.
The WNVA is partnering with sponsors, sport networks, local, regional and national news affiliates to help accomplish this mission. Athletes representing the new league will travel across the country aboard the WNVA Express tour bus. Upon arrival in these cities, the athletes, agents and owners will do all forms of local media. Each city visit will be culminated by huge city rallies that will feature local city officials, appearances from the leagues owners, agents, celebrities and “A” list entertainment.
This national campaign will focus on this country’s pro athletes that have had to travel overseas in order to play the game. It will also give attention to volleyball’s American origin and the WNVA’s plans to bring it back to the U.S. at the professional level. The tour will hit the biggest television and volleyball markets in the country. Remember to check the website regularly for tour dates and schedules for the rallies nearest you. Come out, and be apart of the revolution!
"Success is never final; failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts."
~ John Wooden
