As our fan drive enters the month of August, the Lone Star State has shown the largest gains in the first month. While the biggest jump in numbers has come from Dallas and it’s surrounding areas, the city of Austin still leads the numbers race. The leading cities across the country are Austin TX, Chicago IL, Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, Atlanta GA and Dallas TX rounds out the top 6.

We’ve also had a tremendous spike, no pun intended, in the number of girls from the ages of 13-17 becoming fans over the last two weeks. They are now registering as the 3^rd largest demographic in our fan base.

A very big thank you to all the fans for helping us get the word out. Our research has shown us that volleyball enthusiasts, players and fan numbers reach well into the millions here in the U.S. While we are very proud to have gained a few thousand fans in these last couple of weeks, we have lots more people to reach until our numbers reflect a true representation of all the amazing fans of this great sport. The WNVA appreciates all the fans who have signed up. We know that we are nothing without you. We also believe this foundation our fans are building through their early involvement is also building into the longevity of this pro league. Let’s continue to get the word out and together we will bring this professional sport and the athletes who play the game back home. Let the Revolution Begin!
