We want to send out a very big thanks to everyone for helping us reach 10,000 fans! Over the last few weeks, the fans of four cities have really separated themselves from other cities with their consistent weekly growth. Those cities are Chicago, Austin, Dallas and Los Angeles. We appreciate the dedicated fans in those cities for pushing to get the word out to other fans of this great sport. Outside of those top groups, just last week, the next city’s fan count was almost a full 2 percentage points away from the top four. Well, It seems the fans in Houston were not content with being outside of the loop of those top cities. After being in a tie with Atlanta last week, Houston fan numbers grew dramatically, almost completely erasing the 2 percentage points that separating them from the top cities, making them fastest growing fan base this week.
Chicago, Austin, Dallas and Los Angeles still held on to their previous standings but nipping on their heels, and now alone in fifth place, are the fans of Houston TX. Houston’s fan growth marks the largest amount of weekly growth experienced by any city during this campaign. Congratulations to the fans of Houston. Keep up the good work.
Atlanta fans are now in sixth place and just behind them are Seattle’s fans in seventh. Madison fans rejoined the top ten after dropping out last week. They are all tied up with Kansas City for eighth/ninth place, and San Antonio rounds out the top ten. St. Louis dropped out of the top ten. The cities just outside of the bubble this week are New York, St. Louis, Phoenix, Wichita, Irvine and San Diego.
We’re working on ways to make it easier to invite your friends and other fans of volleyball to become our fans. We have a new welcome page on the fan page. That page contains a “Suggest Your Friends Box” that allows you to invite your friends to become our fans. Invite more of your friends today. The first fan prize winner will be announced this week. It doesn’t matter when you became a fan, every fan is eligible to win. Continue to spread the word and thanks again for joining the revolution.
