Chicago’s fans seem to have a stronghold on the number one spot, but other cities are starting to catch up to the windy city. There are lots of changes to report within this week’s top ten cities starting with second place city. For the first time in 6 weeks a new city took over the number two spot. Dallas’ fans showed aggressive growth this week and passed Austin’s fans to move into second place, as Austin’s fans dropped to the number three spot. An interesting fact, Austin has never been lower than second place prior to this week’s poll.
Houston fans held steady in fourth place but it was the fans of New York City that had the most growth and made the largest jump. New York’s fans moved from the ninth position all the way up to fifth place setting a new record for the most fans joining in a week’s time. Atlanta’s fans moved to sixth place and Seattle’s fans moved to seventh place. San Antonio’s fans are now in eighth place while Kansas City and St Louis’ fans sit in the two remaining spots.
Congratulations to the fans of New York for a terrific accomplishment this week. The New York fans have proven that any city can still achieve large amounts of growth and it’s not too late for any city to have a chance at getting a franchise.
